Me and the long haired boss have been going to a local climbing wall since before christmas and I've been itching to get outside and climb some of the real stuff for a while. We did a couple of small climbs in Cornwall recently so I could suss out the ropes and protection gear and decided to have a crack at something a bit more challenging this weekend. Avon Gorge near Bristol is about 100m high. We took it slow as I didn't want to mess anything up with the gear and die :D This climb is called Gronk and is one of the classics in the area. Not mega hard but pretty serious, especially as it was only our second time out. There were a few scary moments but it all went well. Righto, we'll need a few of these shiny things:$0$0$0$0
